Printer Service Engineer (Nagercoil)

Job Title Printer Service Engineer Job Summary We are looking for a skilled Printer Service Engineer to install, maintain, and repair printers and multifunction devices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and providing excellent customer support to ensure smooth printer operations. Key Responsibilities
- Install and configure printers, scanners, and multifunction devices at customer locations.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to printers.
- Perform preventive maintenance and periodic servicing of printers.
- Replace defective parts such as rollers, fusers, printheads, and power supplies.
- Install and update printer drivers, firmware, and related software.
- Resolve print quality issues, paper jams, and connectivity problems.
- Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers.
- Maintain service reports and update job records after each service visit.
- Ensure timely completion of service calls and customer satisfaction. Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Computer Hardware, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience as a printer technician or service engineer.
- Knowledge of laser, inkjet, and multifunction printers.
- Basic understanding of networking and operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to travel to client locations if required. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience servicing printers from brands such as HP, Canon, Epson, or Brother Industries.
- Certification in computer hardware or printer maintenance.
- Field service experience. Work Environment
