Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts / Assistant Account Manager to handle end-to-end accounting, taxation, and compliance activities. The role requires robust hands-on knowledge of taxation, journal entries, e-billing, and statutory reporting, along with the ability to independently manage accounting operations and support financial closing. Roles & Responsibilities
· Manage day-to-day accounting operations including Journal Vouchers (JV), ledgers, and reconciliations
· Prepare and post journal entries for provisions, accruals, depreciation, and adjustments
· Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
· Maintain accurate books of accounts in line with accounting standards
· Handle GST compliance including return filing, reconciliation, and documentation
· Manage TDS, Income Tax, and statutory deductions, including timely payments and filings
· Coordinate with consultants and auditors for statutory and tax audits
· Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulatory requirements
· Manage e-billing / e-invoicing as per statutory and customer requirements
· Prepare and issue customer invoices; ensure accuracy in tax calculations
· Reconcile billing with sales registers and customer accounts
· Follow up on outstanding receivables and support AR management
· Process vendor bills, purchase entries, and payment transaction
· Maintain AP/AR aging and follow up for timely settlements
· Reconcile vendor and customer accounts periodically
· Prepare MIS reports, reconciliations, and financial summaries for management
· Maintain Sales and Purchase Registers with accuracy
· Deal directly with customers and vendors for billing, taxation, and account-related queries
· Support internal controls and process improvements Required Skills & Qualifications
· 5 to 9 years of experience in accounting and taxation roles (senior-level exposure)
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or MBA (Finance)
· Strong hands-on experience in Taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
· Practical knowledge of Journal Vouchers (JV), e-billing / e-invoicing, and reconciliations
· Experience in statutory compliance, audits, and filings
· Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and accounting software
· Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
· Good communication and coordination skill
