We manufacture over 500 products and cater to 8 different industries including custom rotational moulding. We are vendors to leading automotive companies for fuels tanks, in-cab parts, fenders, roof tops, ad blue tanks etc. BDI also manufactures various kinds of road barriers and other allied products for the safety industry. For material handling products we manufacture the entire range of plastic pallets (with foam/ without foam/with steel reinforcement). Dustbins, Twin bins, Garbage Chutes, Hospital furniture are some of the other products BDI does. Our speciality lies in custom moulding and developing newer concepts and products right from the “sketch off a napkin”. With 5 plants in western, northern and southern India, BDI is well poised to serve customers PAN India. Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee daily manufacturing operations at our Hoshiarpur plant. The role involves ensuring smooth production flow, maintaining quality standards, and achieving production targets while optimizing resources and maintaining safety compliance. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage day-to-day production activities on the shop floor Ensure production targets are met as per schedule and planning Monitor machine performance, manpower utilization, and workflow efficiency Maintain product quality as per company standards and specifications Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and planning teams for smooth operations Ensure adherence to safety protocols and company policies Handle shift planning, attendance, and team discipline Identify process improvements and implement cost-saving measures Maintain production reports, logs, and documentation Train and guide shop floor workers for performance improvement Requirements: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing/production supervision (preferably automotive/plastics industry) Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and shop floor management Leadership and team handling skills Basic knowledge of MS Excel / ERP systems (SAP preferred) Valuable problem-solving and decision-making ability Key Skills: Production Planning & Control Team Management Quality Assurance Process Improvement Time Management Communication Skills Experience in plastic moulding / automotive components manufacturing and Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.in/job/4mmfso
