Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Volume and Revenue:
- Achieve set objectives for overall category performance (Dermatological and Antibiotics products).
- Drive revenue growth and market share for select products by providing adequate support to the sales team and focusing on new/focus products within these categories. 2. Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct in-depth market research specific to Dermatological and Antibiotics product segments to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.
- Analyze market data, user feedback, and product performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and propose actionable strategies for better performance. 3. Product Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute product strategies aligned with company goals and market opportunities for the Dermatological and Antibiotics categories.
- Create targeted promotional materials (brochures, presentations, advertisements) for brand awareness and product promotion.
- Manage the Product Life Cycle (PLC) for products across these categories.
- Devise competitive pricing strategies and trade inputs, ensuring effective market positioning.
- Collaborate with the sales and supply chain teams to ensure continuous and adequate product supply across markets. 4. Product Launch and Marketing:
- Lead product launch activities for Dermatological and Antibiotics products, including developing launch plans and creating marketing collaterals.
- Manage ongoing promotional campaigns to support product launches and sustain market presence.
- Identify and pursue new business streams within the Dermatological and Antibiotics segments. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, design, sales, regulatory affairs) to ensure successful product development, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Track monthly CFA-wise stock updates, check for aging stock, and collaborate with the sales team to propose liquidation plans.
- Oversee monthly updates on packaging materials and coordinate new packaging plans once current stock is depleted for the specified SKUs. 6. Sales Support and Training:
- Provide robust support to the sales team by creating sales tools, conducting product training sessions, and participating in trade partner meetings.
- Participate in retail melas and other events to support the sales team and enhance market visibility.
- Gather regular product feedback from the market to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for product enhancements. 7. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all Dermatological and Antibiotics products comply with applicable regulatory standards and requirements.
- Work closely with the regulatory affairs team to obtain approvals and ensure that compliance is maintained throughout the product lifecycle. 8. Field Work:
- Conduct fieldwork across Indian territories, engaging with healthcare professionals, distributors, and retailers to promote the products and gather insights.
- Participate in relevant exhibitions, events, seminars, and trade shows to drive brand recognition and business growth for Dermatological and Antibiotics products. Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Pharmaceutical management would be Preferable.
- Candidate should have experience of 5-7 years. Required experience/Skills:
- Strong experience in a agile product management role.
- Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.
- High effectiveness in managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience in delivering finely tuned product marketing strategies.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, combined with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
