Assistant Professor -CSE/ECE (Punjab)

The university is seeking motivated and research-oriented faculty members for the CSE/ECE departments. The role involves teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring students, participating in research activities, and contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives. Key Responsibilities Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in CSE/ECE. Develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies. Guide students in academic projects, internships, and research work. Evaluate student performance and provide academic mentoring. Participate in curriculum design and outcome-based education activities. Conduct research, publish papers, and contribute to departmental R&D; initiatives. Organize workshops, seminars, hackathons, and technical events. Support departmental committees and university administrative activities. Supervise teaching assistants and laboratory activities. Required Qualifications For CSE Ph.D. in Computer Science For ECE Ph.D. in ECE Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis may also be considered. Preferred Specializations CSE Areas Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Data Science / Analytics Cyber Security Cloud Computing IoT Full Stack Development Blockchain AR/VR Algorithms & Programming ECE Areas VLSI Embedded Systems Communication Systems Signal Processing IoT & Robotics Knowledge of tools/technologies such as Python, AWS, Azure, Big Data, Power BI, C#, etc. is preferred. Experience Typically 0–8 years of teaching/research experience for Assistant Professor roles. Fresh Ph.D. candidates may apply.
