Senior Design Engineer (Mechanical) (Serilingampalle (M))

Position Description:<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/p> <\/div> As a creative Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will work on all product stages from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. The goal is to design and fabricate mechanical components of innovation and excellence. <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/p> <\/div> Key Responsibilities:<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/p> <\/div>
- Make 3D Models in Solid Works and perform rendering activities for product development (design, develop, test prototypes, and implement)<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Produce effective solutions to problems.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Designs mechanical and electro -mechanical products and systems by developing and testing specifications and methods.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Develops mechanical and electromechanical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials; and <\/span> <\/span>soliciting<\/span> <\/span>observations from operators.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Develops manufacturing processes by designing and <\/span> <\/span>modifying<\/span> <\/span>equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished product and system capabilities; and confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Prepares product reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Contributes to team effort by <\/span> <\/span>accomplishing<\/span> <\/span>related results as needed.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Maintaining and <\/span> <\/span>modifying<\/span> <\/span>equipment to ensure that it is safe, reliable, and efficient using computer -aided design/modelling software.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Testing, evaluating, <\/span> <\/span>modifying<\/span>, and re -testing products<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Involve all steps of design starting from Referring Designs, Plan, Conceptualize, Design, Render, Implement, Create, Prototype, Test, Field trials, perform inter -disciplinary engineering tasks to support the complete product design.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Involve in design documentation to support processes and audits. Prepare costing sheets, Bill of Materials, Documentation for patenting and demos, <\/span>Rendering <\/span>of products, preparation of presentations and specification sheets etc.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div> <\/span>

Requirements<\/h3> Skills and Qualifications<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/p> <\/div>
- BE (Mechanical, IEM)<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Minimum<\/span> <\/span> <\/span>5<\/span>+ Years of relevant design experience with proven <\/span> <\/span>track record<\/span> <\/span>for product design.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Experience in cost estimation and reducing techniques.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Solid understanding of core concepts including mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science etc.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Experience handling solid works 3D Modelling, Sheet Metal, rendering,<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a transparent and understandable manner.<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
- Creativity and sketching skills<\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/span> <\/li> <\/ul> <\/div>
