Furniture Designer (Indiranagar)

Job Title: Furniture Designer Department: Furniture Design Reporting to: Head Designer Monthly Pay: 60K
- 60K Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating new collections within timelines.
- find ways to improve furniture items already manufactured.
- use software packages such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Rhino, SolidWorks and Photoshop
- prepare detailed final designs.
- stay informed about design trends and developments.
- Artistic, creative, and able to express your ideas through sketches & models.
- Conceptualizing and thinking out of the box with regard to new products.
- Primary and secondary research of product and market trends.
- Ability to execute, create technical drawings, reach out to vendors and prototype in a given timeline.
- Problem-solving with regard to failed prototypes and improving processes.
- liaise with craftsmen or production department staff about the process of construction or manufacture.
- Organise plans and schedules with respect to the feasibility of product and material. Requirements:
- Candidate should be good at multitasking.
- Proven working experience in retails.
- Working knowledge of the market and consumer requirements and dynamics.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
