We operate our own projects in India and Namibia and support customer deployments across Indonesia, Kenya, Ghana, Bolivia, and beyond. Our work is backed by large multinational corporations through long-term carbon offtake agreements—creating measurable impact for climate, soils, and rural communities. To strengthen our India engineering team, we are hiring a Senior Electronics Engineer. The Role You will take end-to-end ownership of the electrical, electronics
- controls, and instrumentation layer of our semi-continuous batch pyrolysis systems—supporting design, commissioning, and global deployment in challenging real-world environments. This is a hands-on senior role with high autonomy, global exposure, and strong learning potential in a fast-growing startup. What You’ll Do Design, review and implement industrial electrical circuits (power & control), hands-on where required Develop and modify PLC logic and SCADA systems Select industrial sensors and integrate, and define calibration concepts for industrial sensors (emissions, gas flow, load cells, temperature, pressure), including drift handling in dusty / high-temperature environments Lead electrical participation in FAT / SAT, including: IO & loop checks. Interlock testing, Hot commissioning (start-up, ramp-up, stabilisation) Design and validate safety interlock logic and Emergency Shutdown (ESD) concepts Create and maintain electrical documentation, including: Electrical schematics, Wiring diagrams, IO lists, Cable schedules Handle power quality & site power integration, with a focus on solar-based systems (capacity calculations, load profiles, battery sizing) Coordinate electrical integrations with our engineering and manufacturing teams in Germany, India, and South Africa Collaborate with software and dMRV teams, ensuring remote diagnostics readiness Prepare operator-level electrical documentation, installation handbooks and support technical handover Support sourcing and procurement of electrical and instrumentation components What You Bring 8–10+ years experience in: Electrical circuit design for industrial machinery PLC programming / PLC logic development SCADA systems Selection of Industrial sensoring products Proven experience in commissioning industrial plants Strong understanding of global safety standards, such as: IEC standards ISO 12100 (Machine safety) ATEX / hazardous area principles (where applicable) Comfortable working in harsh, infrastructure-variable environments Excellent written and spoken English Bonus (not required): Experience with pyrolysis, gasification, torrefaction, boilers, or thermal plants What We Offer Competitive remuneration from day one 25 days paid leave Primarily remote / work-from-home with all necessary equipment/softwares Strong learning and development opportunities across disciplines and regions Exposure to global projects and multinational partners For robust performers (and if desired): relocation opportunities to PyroCCS locations such as Germany, Namibia, South Africa, or Singapore, potential to assume a lead electronics engineer role Why Join Us?
