Head of Operations
- Aerospace & Defense Location: Bangalore Experience: 20+ years (with 8+ years in plant leadership) Qualification: Master's in Engineering, Operations, or related field About the Role We are seeking a seasoned leader to establish and drive operations for a new aerospace facility. This role will be accountable for overall site performance across production and supply chain, ensuring operational excellence, financial sustainability, and compliance with global standards. The selected candidate will lead plant setup, operational processes, and industrial qualifications, with opportunities for international induction training. Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute operational strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
- Manage site performance including revenue, profitability, and long-term planning.
- Oversee production, supply chain, logistics, industrialization, tooling, and Lean functions.
- Drive continuous improvement and Lean transformation initiatives.
- Act as primary contact for key customers in operational or crisis situations.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory and HSE standards. Profile Requirements
- Master's degree in Engineering/Operations or related field.
- 20+ years of experience, including 8+ years in industrial plant leadership.
- Mandatory background in aerospace industry.
- Experience in composite materials highly desirable.
- Robust strategic and financial acumen.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing and industrial processes.
- Excellent leadership, change management, and decision-making skills.
