A. RnD Portfolio Monitoring
• Track progress of R&D; projects testing centres and Hydrogen Valley projects supported under NGHM, including milestone tracking and outcome assessment and consolidate technical progress, milestones, and outcomes.
B. Technology Readiness & Gap Assessment
• Assess technology readiness levels (TRLs) and the overall technological preparedness of Indian industry and research ecosystem in specific hydrogen value chain segments across specific hydrogen-related technologies; identify capability gaps and priority areas for intervention.
C. Strategy Inputs for Future R&D;
• Provide technical inputs on outcomes and recommend further R&D; planning, thematic priorities, and potential calls for proposals.
• Support design of new R&D; calls, pilot schemes and demonstration projects, including eligibility, evaluation criteria and governance frameworks. Key Skills required: •Bachelors degree in Engineering, Finance, Renewable Energy, or Management, with strong academic fundamentals •8 years of proven experience in the Renewable Energy sector, preferably in large‑scale or mission‑critical initiatives. •Proven experience leading large‑scale R&D; or tech programmes, including engagements with Government bodies and national initiatives. Strong ability to evaluate TRLs, analyse technological preparedness across hydrogen value chain segments, and identify capability gaps. •Ability to translate project outcomes into strategic inputs, recommend thematic priorities, and shape future R&D; directions. •Experience creating frameworks for R&D; calls, pilot schemes, and demonstration projects, including eligibility, evaluation criteria, and governance structures.
