POSITION : Design Manager – Ladies Casual Wear (Woven) COMPANY : Apparel Manufacturing – Woven LOCATION : Bangladesh SALARY : USD 3,000 + Accommodation + Meals + Air Tickets OVERVIEW: Our client is seeking a creative and trend-driven Design Manager with strong exposure in Ladies Casual Wear – Woven category. The ideal candidate should possess strong fashion forecasting ability, product development exposure, and a passion for creating commercially successful designs for international apparel markets. This opportunity is ideal for candidates willing to relocate to Bangladesh and grow within a multinational apparel manufacturing environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Fashion Research & Trend Forecasting
- Research global fashion trends, colors, fabrics, silhouettes, and seasonal inspirations
- Monitor competitor products and emerging market trends
- Develop creative concepts aligned with international buyer expectations Design & Product Development
- Lead the design and development process for Ladies Casual Wear – Woven category
- Prepare mood boards, sketches, tech packs, and design presentations
- Develop innovative and commercially viable product concepts Fabric & Material Coordination
- Source suitable fabrics, trims, washes, and embellishment ideas
- Ensure product designs align with garment construction and fabric capabilities Cross Functional Coordination
- Work closely with merchandising, sampling, and production teams for smooth execution
- Coordinate with buyers and internal stakeholders on product development requirements
- Ensure timely completion of seasonal collections and sample submissions PRE
- REQUISITES:
- Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or related field
- Maximum 5 years of experience in fashion/apparel designing
- Strong experience in Ladies Casual Wear – Woven designing
- Positive knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and fashion trends
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or related design software
- Strong communication and presentation skills
