Head-Retail Design II Leading Coffee Chain (Delhi)

Role & responsibilities
- Lead the creative vision and design direction for cafes and retail spaces across multiple locations.
- Conceptualize immersive, aesthetically strong, and customer-centric spaces aligned with the brand identity and experience.
- Drive innovation in layouts, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and spatial storytelling.
- Develop and maintain a cohesive design language across all cafes while adapting concepts contextually for different formats and cities.
- Review and guide design development, technical drawings, and execution details to ensure design intent is maintained in office.
- Lead and mentor the internal design team while managing external architects, consultants, and creative partners.
- Stay updated on global hospitality, caf, retail, and lifestyle design trends to continuously evolve the brand aesthetic.
- Balance creativity with functionality, operational flow, customer movement, and execution feasibility. Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors or masters degree in architecture / interior design from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in hospitality, caf, retail, or experiential design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative retail/F&B; projects with a distinctive design sensibility.
- Proven experience in conceptualizing and scaling multi-location caf or retail environments.
- Strong understanding of spatial planning, materials, lighting, finishes, furniture, and customer experience design.
- Ability to translate brand philosophy into impactful physical spaces.
- Working knowledge of construction drawings, execution detailing, and site coordination.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite, or similar design tools.
