Job title : 'Database Sales Engineer' Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Database Sales Engineer with strong expertise in database technologies, cloud platforms, and data analytics. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in database consulting and pre-sales solutioning, with the ability to understand client requirements, design innovative solutions, and support business growth through technical expertise and stakeholder engagement.Key Responsibilities : Design and propose database and cloud-based solutions for enterprise clients Engage with clients to understand business requirements and provide technical recommendations Support pre-sales activities including RFP/RFT responses, presentations, and product demonstrationsCollaborate with sales and delivery teams to drive solutioning and successful deal closures Provide expertise in database technologies, analytics platforms, and modernization strategies Required Skills : Strong experience in Database Consultancy and Professional Services Hands-on expertise in DBA, Database Engineering, and Data AnalyticsProficiency in database technologies such as Informix, Ingres/Actian, DB2, Teradata/Netezza, and Oracle Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and presentation skills Preferred Qualification : 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Database ConsultantExperience in Sales Engineering and pre-sales solutioning roles Familiarity with Vector Databases and AI-related technologies Proven experience in handling enterprise-level RFP/RFT processes Willingness to work from or relocate to Delhi
