JOB Description 1. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES (List the accountabilities associated with the job.) Work with logistics team and supply chain team to: Identify, evaluate and implement carbon reduction measures across logistics value chains Support in monitoring logistics emission intensity metrics, Logistics Service Provider benchmarking on actual vs targetsDevelop business cases for adoption of alternative fuels / zero-emission vehicles (EVs, CNG, CBG, LNG, Biofuels, Hydrogen, etc.), and support infrastructure Work with logistics, plant operations, and sustainability teams to integrate decarbonization roadmap into logistics strategy and vendor selectionConduct techno-commercial studies and sensitivity analysis for transition solutions Coordinate pilot projects for new technologies and assess scalability Track and report decarbonization performance KPIs and support audit and disclosure requirements 2. MAJOR CHALLENGES (Describe the major challenges you face on an on-going basis in carrying out your job.)This profile will work closely with various stakeholders to overcome the following broad challenges: Limited data visibility across networks and multiple Logistics Service Providers Volatility in fuel markets and evolving green fleet economics Resistance to change from transport partners and internal operating teamsInfrastructural gaps for green fleet 3. Major data backed decisions expected from this profile are: Prioritization of decarbonization opportunitiesSelection of routes, warehouses, TVPs, hubs, suppliers, Charging Point Operators (CPOs), green fuel stations for green logistics providers Recommendation of technology partners, OEMs, or service providers Finalization and monitoring of emission calculation methodologies, and data validation standardsApproval of logistics optimization models and intervention monitoring framework 4.
