Information Technology Department - Manager (Goa)

Role & responsibilities Plant IT Operations & Support
- Own day-to-day IT operations for the plant, including:
- Servers, networks, endpoints, printers, and shop-floor IT assets User access management, incident handling, and service request fulfilment
- Ensure high system uptime for manufacturing-critical systems (MES, SCADA interfaces, data historians, ERP touchpoints). Troubleshooting & Incident Management
- Act as L2/L3 escalation point for complex plant IT and automation-related issues.
- Troubleshoot: MES connectivity and performance issues PLC/IT network interface issues (in coordination with automation teams) Data flow, interface failures, and system latency impacting production Compliance, GxP & Data Integrity
- Ensure all IT systems supporting GxP processes comply with:
- Data Integrity principles (ALCOA+)
- Applicable regulatory guidelines and internal QMS requirements
- Own and maintain:
- System inventories and GxP classification
- Audit trails, access controls, backups, antivirus, and patching compliance Computer System Validation (CSV) & Change Control
- Lead and support CSV activities for plant IT systems:
- URS, Risk Assessments, IQ/OQ/PQ documentation
- Validation of recent systems, upgrades, and patches

Ensure all IT changes follow formal change control processes MES & Automation IT Support
- Act as IT SPOC for: MES line integrations and expansions Infrastructure readiness for new manufacturing equipment
- Support testing, user training, go-live, and hyper-care activities Key Deliverables
- Ensure smooth plant IT operations and system uptime
- Resolve production-critical incidents and escalations
- Maintain MES/SCADA system performance
- Drive RCA and corrective actions
- Ensure GxP compliance and audit readiness
- Manage CSV and change control processes
- Support MES integrations and system upgrades Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate (B.Sc /BCA / B.E./B.Tech IT/Computer/Instrumentation or related field)
- 14+ years of experience in plant IT / manufacturing environment
- Exposure to MES/SCADA systems and IT infrastructure
- Experience in pharma or regulated industry preferred
- Knowledge of GxP, CSV, and compliance requirements Key Competencies
