Design Drafter (Goa)

Job Title: Draftsman Location: Goa (Preferred Goa based candidates Only) Department: Design Experience: 2-3 Years Education: Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline) Key Skills & Experience •Candidate should have minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in drafting. •Candidate should possess the solid software SKILLS related to CAD/REVIT and MS office Role Overview We are looking for a Draftsman who can manage the full spectrum of drafting and quantity take-off operations for a fast-growing startup. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, and comfortable working across both 2D and 3D design environments (CAD/REVIT). The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience from construction sector, is proficient in preparing accurate 2D/3D drawings, and can efficiently extract quantities by interpreting drawings and compiling data in Excel. They should understand the practical and execution-side requirements of projects and be capable of supporting engineering and site teams as the organisation scales. Key Responsibilities •Prepare and deliver 2D/3D drawings including shop drawings, revisions, and as-built documentation •Perform quantity take-offs (BOQ) from drawings and compile accurate data in Excel •Coordinate with engineering and site teams to ensure drawings are practical and aligned with execution •Review and update drawings, maintaining version control and resolving discrepancies/clashes •Support project execution with timely drafting updates and material estimation inputs. •Prepare accurate and detailed 2D & 3D drawings (GA, shop drawings, fabrication drawings) based on design inputs and site requirements. •Perform precise quantity take-offs (BOQ) by interpreting drawings and compiling structured data in Excel. •Coordinate with engineering, planning, and site teams to ensure drawings are practical, buildable, and aligned with execution. •Develop and update shop drawings, as-built drawings, and revisions based on site changes and client feedback. •Maintain strict drawing control systems (versioning, documentation, revisions tracking). •Identify clashes, inconsistencies, and missing details in drawings and proactively resolve them before execution. •Support procurement and planning teams with accurate quantity data and material specifications. •Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and internal drafting protocols. •Assist in cost estimation inputs based on drawing quantities and material take-offs. •Work closely with project teams to ensure timely delivery of drawings as per project schedule.
