Engineer II (Rangareddy)

Overview: The primary focus of this position will be streamlining deployment processes, improving automation, and tuning instrumentation, with a mission to improve collaboration between Development, QA, and Operations. Reporting to the Director of SaaS Operations, the DevOps engineer will assume an invaluable role in ensuring the long term stability and scalability of our services. A key requirement is the ability to collaborate with development, technical operations, and vendors as needed to identify key operational metrics and develop procedures for optimizing build and deployment environment sizing, scaling, speed, and ease of use. Responsibilities:
- Managing and leading improvements to the build process, including making the build process more modular, parallelizable, and understandable.
- Managing and leading improvements to the deployment process, including developing a robust process for continuous releases.
- Implementing a robust continuous integration and continuous deployment solution.
- Contributing to the branch and merge process in version control to support concurrent development of multiple products/services.
- Working with the Development Team to enable them to integrate recent features and components into the build and release process using build infrastructure expressed as code. Qualifications:
- Experience with continuous integration (CI) tools. Hand-on experience with automation and deployment tools
- Minimum 5 years .NET experience
- Technical skills must include SQL, PowerShell, .NET
- Experience with public cloud providers (AWS preferred)
