Ltd. is seeking a Planning Engineer to manage project planning, production scheduling, resource allocation, project monitoring, and coordination between design, procurement, production, and execution teams. The candidate should have experience in PEB, structural steel, HVAC ducting, fabrication, or industrial construction projects. Key Responsibilities Project Planning
- Prepare detailed project schedules and execution plans.
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules.
- Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports. Production Planning
- Coordinate with design, detailing, procurement, and production departments.
- Plan fabrication schedules based on project priorities.
- Monitor material availability and production capacity.
- Ensure timely release of drawings and materials for manufacturing. Project Monitoring & Control
- Track project activities and identify delays or bottlenecks.
- Prepare recovery plans and corrective actions where required.
- Monitor productivity, manpower utilization, and equipment deployment.
- Coordinate with site teams for erection and installation schedules. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and internal departments.
- Conduct project review meetings and prepare MOM (Minutes of Meeting).
- Ensure smooth information flow between factory and site teams.
- Coordinate dispatch schedules and material delivery plans. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare MIS reports, project dashboards, and management reports.
- Maintain project records, schedules, and planning documentation.
- Generate progress tracking reports using planning software. Qualification
- B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Certification in Project Management or Primavera/MS Project will be an added advantage. Experience
- 2 to 8 years of experience in Planning & Project Coordination.
- Experience in PEB, Structural Steel, HVAC Ducting, Fabrication, EPC, Manufacturing, or Industrial Construction projects preferred. Required Skills
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, MS Excel, and ERP Systems.
- Strong understanding of fabrication, production, and project execution processes.
- Knowledge of project scheduling, resource planning, and project monitoring.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
