Ltd. is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Detailing Engineer (PEB) to prepare detailed fabrication and erection drawings for Pre-Engineered Buildings, steel structures, warehouses, factories, industrial sheds, and commercial buildings. The candidate should have experience in steel detailing, connection detailing, BOM preparation, and coordination with design, production, and project teams. Key Responsibilities Detailing & Drafting
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for primary and secondary steel members.
- Develop erection drawings, shop drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, and connection details.
- Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and material take-offs.
- Prepare anchor bolt plans, roof framing plans, wall framing layouts, and structural details.
- Ensure drawings are compliant with approved design calculations and project specifications. Software & Technical Work
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings using:
- Tekla Structures
- AutoCAD
- SDS/2 (Added Advantage)
- Advance Steel (Preferred)
- Check and revise drawings based on design modifications and site requirements.
- Maintain drawing revisions and document control procedures. Coordination
- Coordinate with design engineers, production teams, project managers, and site engineers.
- Resolve fabrication and erection-related technical queries.
- Provide drawing support during manufacturing and site erection activities.
- Attend internal technical review meetings as required. Quality Control
- Verify dimensions, member sizes, weld details, bolt details, and connection requirements.
- Ensure accuracy of drawings before release for fabrication.
- Minimize drawing errors and material wastage through proper detailing practices. Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Experience
- 2 to 6 years of experience in PEB detailing, structural steel detailing, or fabrication drawing preparation.
- Experience in industrial buildings, warehouses, factories, and steel structures preferred. Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of steel connections, welding details, bolting systems, and fabrication standards.
- Knowledge of PEB components such as rafters, columns, purlins, girts, bracings, mezzanine structures, and crane buildings.
- Ability to read and interpret structural design drawings.
- Good communication and coordination skills. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
