Senior Electrical Engineer, Noida

Description To act in a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer capacity in producing WSP engineering related project deliverables involved in Power Generation projects in the US. Responsibilities - Lead and support Electrical Engineer on design of power generation projects - Lead and support Electrical Engineer on the design of renewable energy projects- Lead and support Electrical Engineer on power plant and switchyard electrical system upgrades - Lead and support Electrical Engineer on federal electrical system upgrades - Mentor and teach Junior Engineers - Project proposal and budget development - Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. - Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. - 3+ years of detailed electrical design engineering experience, including calculations, equipment specifications, etc. - 3+ years of relay coordination and schematic design- Engineer in Training Certification. - CAD, Microsoft Office, and ETAP or SKM software experience - Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. - Ability to work schedules conducive to project-specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.- Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements. Qualifications - Master’s Degree in Engineering. - Essential Professional Licensure/Certification. - Previous experience leading a group of engineers is a plus - 3+ years of detailed design engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus- 3+ years of owners engineering experience in generating facilities and/or substations is a plus BGV: - Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India. - Candidates are advised to ensure that all information provided during the recruitment process — including documents uploaded — is accurate and complete, both to WSP India and its BGV partner”.
