Quantity surveyor (Noida)

Currie & Brown is currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor for our Noida office. The primary responsibility of the Quantity Surveyor
- Civil/ MEP in terms of cost estimation is to accurately predict and prepare detailed cost estimates / BOQs for Civil / Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems & respectively. Responsibilities for the successful candidate(s) will include:
- Carefully review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and other relevant documents provided by the client and consultants.
- Identify Project requirements, including materials, equipment, labor, and other resources necessary for project cost.
- Familiarize oneself with applicable international codes and standards (Ex- NRM, POMI, Smm7)
- Ensure all cost estimates align with standards to maintain compliance and quality.
- Use appropriate measurement methods to accurately assess quantities.
- Proficiency in working with Auto CAD, MS Excel and related software.
- Familiarity with cost estimation software(e.g., Cost X) is an added advantage
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills. Requirements:
- 5-10 years of proven experience in Quantity Surveying, out of that a minimum of 2 years of technical delivery experience gained within a global construction consultancy.
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Valuable technical writing, client-facing and communication skills
- Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, well-disciplined and commercially astute
