NPD Executive (Skincare Startup/ Formulations) (Noida)

Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end formulation development across skincare categories—from concept ideation to commercial launch.
• Research and evaluate raw materials, active ingredients, textures, and delivery systems aligned with brand philosophy and claims.
• Review, evaluate, and optimize formulations submitted by contract manufacturers to achieve desired performance, sensorials, and stability.
• Drive prototype development, stability studies, pilot trials, and scale-up coordination with manufacturing partners.
• Act as the central interface between R&D;, Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Procurement, Nutrition, and Manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate closely with Brand/Marketing teams to translate consumer insights and claims into product concepts and formulations.
• Support tech-transfer, validation, and process optimization across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Ensure global regulatory compliance by reviewing ingredient lists and formulations with the Regulatory team.
• Review and manage technical documentation including MFRs, BOMs, SOPs, change controls, deviations, artwork text matter, and claims support documents.
• Participate in pilot, pre-production, and commercial batch reviews to ensure formula integrity, quality, and aesthetics.
• Develop claims questionnaires and coordinate required testing to support marketing and packaging claims.
• Conduct competitive and market research to track emerging trends, innovations, and recent product launches in skincare and nutraceuticals.
• Track project timelines, milestones, KPIs, and budgets to ensure on-time and cost-effective product launches.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process efficiency, and NPD effectiveness. Good to have:
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in New Product Development within Beauty & Personal Care.
• Hands-on experience working with Marketing (Brand or Category level) is mandatory.
• Exposure to D2C brands, skincare formulation, or nutraceuticals is a strong plus.
