AGM/DGM – Washing Machine R&D & Product Development (Noida)

About the Role We are looking for an experienced and dynamic leader to head the Research & Development and New Product Development function for our Washing Machine Division. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in development of Semi-Automatic, Fully Automatic Top Load, and Front Load Washing Machines with hands-on exposure in product engineering, platform development, localization, testing, compliance, and mass production readiness. Key Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end development of SAWM, FATL, and FAFL washing machines.
· Drive complete New Product Development lifecycle from concept to mass production.
· Develop and improve motor systems, PCB & inverter systems, and mechanical systems.
· Lead product reliability and validation activities including DFMEA / PFMEA.
· Drive field quality improvements and warranty reduction initiatives.
· Manage vendor development, tooling, localization, and cost optimization.
· Ensure compliance with BIS, BEE, NABL, and export certifications.
· Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, Design, and Service teams.
· Lead ODM/OEM customer projects and manage development timelines.
· Build and mentor a high-performance R&D; team. Required Skills & Expertise
· Washing machine architecture and systems engineering
· BLDC / Inverter / Universal / Induction motor technologies
· PCB and control systems understanding
· Mechanical transmission systems and suspension systems
· Noise & vibration reduction
· Reliability engineering and testing
· Cost engineering / Value engineering
· DFMEA / PFMEA / SPC / 8D / 5 Why / Kaizen
· CAD / 3D tools and FEA analysis tools (Ansys preferred)
· Vendor development and tooling management Preferred Candidate Profile
· 12–18 years experience in Washing Machine R&D; / Product Development
· Experience in appliance ODM/OEM projects
· Exposure to Indian and export market requirements
· Strong leadership and project management capability
