We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical and Electronics Technician (Artificer Technician) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment. The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and technical schematics, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities: Installation and Maintenance: Install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment, including circuits, sensors, control systems, and wiring. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime. Troubleshooting and Repairs:Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic tools and testing instruments. Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality. Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to operators and other team members regarding equipment usage and maintenance.Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Prepare technical reports and documentation for future reference and compliance purposes. Compliance and Safety:Ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines. Adhere to company policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment. Equipment Upgrades and Modifications: Assist in system upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency and performance.Collaborate with
engineering teams to implement new technologies and solutions. Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and tests to ensure the proper functioning of installed systems. Identify and address potential risks or inefficiencies in electrical components. Requirements Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.Proven experience as an electrical/electronics technician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematic interpretation. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing instruments.Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, and control circuits. Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards (e.g., OSHA, IEC, IEEE). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency repairs when required. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in electrical or electronics-related courses. Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS). Knowledge of industrial automation and robotics systems.
