Senior QC Engineer - QC/R & D (Civil) (Palakkad)

Our products are engineered for superior performance, ease of use and cost efficiency across diverse construction applications. Role Overview Key Responsibilities Quality Control (QC)
- Conduct material and product testing in the laboratory, including physical, chemical, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and document test results as per established standards and protocols.
- Assist in evaluating raw materials (cement, graded sand, polymers, etc.) to ensure compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Support batch testing for production and final product certification in alignment with ISO quality requirements.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve non-conformances and improve product consistency. Research & Development (R&D;) Support
- Participate in formulation trials for new dry-mix mortar or improved product versions.
- Assist in experimentation, data collection, and analysis to evaluate performance enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, technical support, and marketing) to translate R&D; outcomes into scalable solutions.
- Document R&D; activities, prepare reports, and assist in presentation of findings to senior technical leadership. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of tests, formulations, and process changes.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory specifications.
- Work on updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for QC and R&D; processes. Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in testing and product development.
- Participate in regular review meetings to share insights and improvement recommendations. Qualifications:
- B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Materials Science or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of construction materials and quality testing methods.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
