The Manager
- People and Culture drives workforce strategy and employee experience across functions of MPCES. As a critical business partner, the role will lead talent acquisition, HRMS data architecture, payroll synchronization, performance evaluation systems, and Statutory Compliance and management. Key Responsibilities: 1. Talent Acquisition & Manpower Strategy Workforce Planning : Architect annual manpower budgets and headcount plans alongside business stakeholders. Sourcing Management : Optimize internal and external sourcing channels to hit target numbers within budget. Full-Cycle Recruitment : Lead end-to-end talent acquisition (sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, negotiation, and offer rollouts). Pipeline Engineering : Build and maintain qualified talent pipelines ahead of scheduled Operational launch. Risk Compliance : Mandate and verify reference checks and Background Verification (BGV) for all incoming staff. 2. Onboarding & Systems Integration Current-Hire Orientation : Standardize onboarding practices to deliver high-impact culture and policy integration. Asset & Credentialing : Ensure swift generation of Employee IDs, corporate emails, ID cards, and Mediclaim coverage. Training Alignment : Partner with the Training team to coordinate mandatory Training Sessions 3. Employee Relations & Cultural Engagement HR Business Partnering : Act as the single point of contact for employees and managers within the business unit. Conflict Resolution : Mediate workplace grievances and resolve operational employee queries. Engagement Execution : Design and implement high-impact employee engagement initiatives to lower attrition rates. 4. Payroll Synchronization, Statutory Compliance & Legal Governance HRMS and Payroll: Administration : Own data integrity, updates, and configuration tracking within the internal HRMS platform. Audit & Discipline : Maintain updated statutory registers, coordinate filings or audits, and partner with Designated Authorities (DA) on disciplinary actions. Payroll & Benefits : Track leaves, verify attendance data, and coordinate health insurance or incentives. Manage end-to-end salary processing and related Statutory compliance for the organization. This role owns data integrity within the HRMS, calculates salary variables, synchronizes inputs across departments, and ensures all employee payouts are processed accurately and on time. 5. Performance Management (PMS) High-Performance Ecosystem : Implement and scale appraisal cycles with the Business Head to reward high-performing teams. Metric Standardization : Monitor and execute objective, KRA/KPI-based Performance Management Systems across divisions. 6. Offboarding & Exit Metrics Turnover Analysis : Conduct formal exit interviews, log data in the HRMS, and build targeted interventions to retain productive staff. F&F; Settlements : Clear cross-departmental dependencies to process Full & Final (F&F;) payouts strictly within corporate Turnaround Times (TAT). Required Qualifications Education : MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience : 5+ years of core HR management experience, with a proven track record. Technical Skills : Hands-on proficiency with enterprise HRMS systems, Statutory Compliance portals, and data analytics in MS Excel.
