Residential Academic Coordinator (Perintalmanna)

We are looking for a dedicated and academically strong Residential Academic Coordinator who will stay with students and ensure their daily academic progress, discipline, and consistency. This role bridges the gap between faculty teaching and student execution. The coordinator ensures that what is taught in class is actually understood, revised, and practiced properly in the hostel. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Academic Monitoring & Progress Tracking
- Track daily study hours, topic completion, and revision status of each student
- Ensure students complete assignments, DPPs, and practice questions on time
- Identify weak students and subjects early and take corrective action ⸻ 2. Doubt Support & Concept Reinforcement
- Assist students with basic doubt clarification (Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Maths)
- Guide students on how to approach problem-solving, not just give answers
- Coordinate with faculty for advanced or unresolved doubts ⸻ 3. Study Discipline & Environment
- Ensure strict adherence to study schedules in the hostel
- Maintain a focused, distraction-free academic environment
- Monitor self-study sessions and prevent wastage of time ⸻ 4. Individual Mentoring
- Regularly interact with students to understand their academic struggles
- Motivate and guide students during low-performance phases
- Help students build consistency, confidence, and exam temperament ⸻ 5. Performance Analysis
- Track test scores and academic trends
- Help students analyse mistakes and improve strategy
- Report progress and concerns to academic heads ⸻ 6. Coordination with Faculty & Management
- Act as a communication bridge between students and teachers
- Provide feedback on student performance and behaviour
- Assist in implementing academic plans and improvement strategies ⸻ Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong science background (BSc / MSc / Engineering / Medical preferred)
- Positive conceptual understanding of NEET/JEE syllabus
- Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or academic support is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
