Data Engineer (Kannur)

Hiring: Data Engineer | Remote

We're looking for a Data Engineer who can build scalable data platforms, optimize data pipelines, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Develop and optimize batch and real-time data processing workflows.
- Build reliable data models and data architecture for analytics and reporting.
- Ensure data quality, governance, security, and performance.
- Work with large datasets using contemporary data engineering tools.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data infrastructure.

Required Skills
- 4+ years of Data Engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development and data modeling.
- Experience with Spark, Kafka, Hadoop, or similar big data technologies.
- Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of database design and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
- Experience building real-time streaming pipelines.
- Familiarity with Databricks and Lakehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of data governance, monitoring, and observability tools.
