Electrical Powertrain Engineer (Amravati)

Electrical Powertrain Engineer Job Location: Pune Scope of Role 3D/2D CAD, ePowertrain, harness, Plastics, sheetmetal Area of Responsibility
- The Electrical Powertrain Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and integration of high-voltage electrical systems that drive vehicle propulsion. This includes EDU, inverters, HV battery, BMS and associated sub systems and components.
- Create and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for EDU Thermal and lubrication components, HV battery and BMS commodities like, casting, Plastics, Wire harness, Busbar, bracketry, system Integration using CATIA V6 or equivalent tools
- Support design reviews, packaging studies, and digital mock-ups to ensure robust integration within vehicle architecture
- Collaborate with component engineers, CAE analysts, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability
- Assist in the development of DFMEAs, design rules, and validation plans
- Ensure CAD data aligns with programme milestones and complies with internal release processes
- Support supplier engagement for component sourcing, DVP planning, and quality assurance.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support change management processes. Knowledge / Experience – 2 to 6 Years Essential:
- structures, plastic module+carriers, busbar integration, crash and structural mechanical design(battery), harness routing, BEM brackets.
- Supporting 2D/3D CAD skills must. Intermediate GD&T.;
