Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Amravati)

Job title: Senior Electrical & Electronics Designer Specific Skill set required to perform the job:
- Working experience in the design and development of medical equipment, particularly ventilators and anesthesia systems.
- Prior experience in the full cycle of current product introduction/development (NPI/NPD), from concept phase to product release for manufacturing.
- Solid experience with microcontroller and microprocessor-based board designs, including memory and storage devices.
- Ability to design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics (mentor graphics expedition preferred), BOM generation/scrubbing, and detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision.
- Write electrical system and sub-system specifications, and review documentation and drawings. Experience with EMI/EMC testing. Experience with high-speed interfaces like USB and Ethernet. Experience with ADC, audio/video controllers, and DC-DC converter-based circuit boards.
- Ability to perform basic engineering analysis and troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electrical problems.
- Experience with lab tools like DSO/MSO, bus analyzers, function generators, and safety testers for hardware development.
- Experience in making electrical sub-system project plans and integrating them with program plans. Ensure electrical designs/sub-systems are integrated with mechanical and software sub-systems and functional.
- Knowledge of standards like IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2 EMI/EMC, ISO 80601-2-13, and ISO 80601-2-55, capable of guiding and executing the standards testing and mitigating the issues.
- Assess risks in advance and conduct FMEA and reliability assessment. Detailed discussions with suppliers, selecting the right partner/supplier to develop PWA's, and driving cost-effective solutions to meet product cost targets.
- Experience with electrical concepts, PCBA schematics, layout, routing, component selection, BOM preparation, and circuit analysis.
- Experience in the development of PCBA's, finding and addressing board-level issues.
- Experience with power sub-systems, battery selection, and display sub-assemblies.
- Experience with CPU and microcontroller selection, cable/wire harness design, microswitches, and other sub-systems.
