EYP Head (Early Years Programme Head) – IB School Location
- Worli, Mumbai Job Profile (Key Responsibilities) Lead and manage the Early Years Programme section in alignment with the International Baccalaureate philosophy and framework. Ensure effective implementation of inquiry-based, play-based, and child-centric learning practices. Supervise curriculum planning, lesson delivery, assessments, and documentation for Nursery to Grade 1 / PYP Early Years. Mentor, observe, and support teachers for continuous professional development. Monitor student progress, wellbeing, behaviour, and holistic development. Maintain strong parent engagement through meetings, orientations, and regular communication. Ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for young learners. Coordinate admissions support, events, celebrations, and school readiness programmes. Work closely with Principal/PYP Coordinator on academic planning, compliance, and IB standards. Drive innovation in classroom practices, learning spaces, and early childhood pedagies. Pre-requisites / Eligibility Master’s Degree with B.Ed./ECCEd./Montessori or relevant Early Childhood qualification. IB PYP training/workshop certification preferred. 5–10 years of experience in Early Years education, with leadership/coordinator experience in an IB or international school. Strong understanding of IB-PYP, inquiry-based learning, Reggio Emilia/Montessori approaches, and EYFS practices. Excellent communication, classroom management, and team leadership skills. Robust planning, documentation, observation, and curriculum mapping abilities. Proficiency in technology integration and digital learning tools.
