- Mutual Fund Product Specialist Role Purpose Anchor the core AUM engine by driving mutual fund growth through portfolio construction, product positioning, and enabling effective client engagement across channels. Key Responsibilities
- Design and manage model portfolios (SIP & Lumpsum) aligned to different investor segments and market conditions
- Partner with Relationship Managers (RMs) through training sessions, product updates, and market communication to drive mutual fund adoption
- Lead the planning and execution of NFOs and thematic investment strategies
- Monitor portfolio performance, investor behaviour, and recommend churn/rebalancing strategies
- Simplify complex investment concepts into clear, client-friendly messaging and communication materials
- Develop product notes, market insights, and investment decks to support sales and advisory teams
- Track industry trends, fund performance, and competitive positioning to refine product strategies Qualifications & Experience
- 2s 5 years of experience in mutual fund research, product management, or distribution
- Strong understanding of mutual fund products, asset allocation, and market dynamics
- Experience in working with sales/RM teams and supporting client engagement Key Skills
- Portfolio construction and analytical skills
- Strong communication and storytelling ability
- Stakeholder management and collaboration
- Market awareness and investment insight generation
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts for clients
- Experience with AMCs, wealth management firms, broking platforms
- Certifications such as NISM (Mutual Funds) preferred PM
