Work From Office only Candidates Only from Navi Mumbai Thane Kalyan Dombivli No relocation and WFH Job Title Medical Coder DX and Procedure Code Billing Location Ghansoli Number of Openings 1 Shift time Night 8 00 PM to 5 00 AM Job Type Full-Time Experience Level Minimum 6 months -1 years experience in medical Billing sector Salary 20-30k We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder to join our healthcare team The ideal candidate will have experience in outpatient and inpatient medical coding including proficiency in DX and procedure code billing As a Medical Coder you will be responsible for accurately coding diagnoses procedures and other healthcare services in compliance with healthcare regulations Key Responsibilities Review and analyze patient records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures Assign correct CPT ICD-10-CM HCPCS and procedure codes for outpatient and inpatient services Ensure compliance with federal regulations payer guidelines and coding standards Maintain knowledge of updated coding policies and standards Perform quality checks and audits on medical records Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and procedures when needed Participate in audits and compliance checks as required Stay updated with the latest coding and healthcare industry trends Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor s degree in a medical-related field Minimum 6 months -1 years of experience in medical coding with a focus on DX and procedure code billing for outpatient and inpatient settings CPC Certified Professional Coder certification is required Expertise in CPT ICD-10-CM HCPCS and US Healthcare billing systems Solid knowledge of medical coding and healthcare regulations Familiarity with CMS and UB other payer requirements Other Preferred Certifications Skills CCS Certified Coding Specialist COC Certified Outpatient Coder RHIT Registered Health Information Technician CPMA Certified Professional Medical Auditor Additional Information Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Strong communication skills both verbal and written Job Type Full-time Pay 20 000 00
