Warehouse Manager (Maharashtra)

Role & responsibilities FIFO Compliance Implement and monitor First-In-First-Out inventory practices to maintain proper product rotation and reduce obsolescence Inventory Turn Ratio Management: Track and improve inventory turnover through strategic stock control and demand forecasting. Inventory Accuracy Ensure regular cycle counts, conduct root-cause analysis for variances Part Retrieval System: Optimize and oversee a robust part retrieval system to minimize retrieval time and improve process efficiency. 5S Implementation Drive 5S practices in the warehouse for a clean, organized, and productive workspace. Workplace Safety Promote and enforce safety policies, conduct regular audits, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Value Stream Mapping Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze workflows and eliminate process waste using lean tools like VSM. People Handling: Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff; resolve conflicts and ensure high team productivity and morale. Others 1. Lead end-to-end warehouse operations (RM, WIP, FG) 2. Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials 3. Implement FIFO practices 4. Optimize warehouse layout for efficiency and safety 5. Inventory Control 6. Drive cycle counting and periodic physical verification 7. Minimize inventory discrepancies and shrinkage 8. Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory 9. Dispatch & Logistics- Ensure on-time dispatch as per production and customer schedules 10. Coordinate with transporters and logistics partners 11. Improve dispatch turnaround time (TAT) 12. Ensure proper documentation (invoice, e-way bill, etc.) 13. Process Improvement
