- Early Childhood Care andEducation (ECCE), Mumbai Experience: 3-5 years Salary: Upto 6-8 LPA___________________________________________ About the role: Theorganization's Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) programmeis a new strategic initiative aimed at improving the quality ofeducation for children aged 36 years, particularly in Anganwadicenters . As a core member of the ECCE team, the Coordinator willplay a key role in establishing, strengthening, and expanding thisvital program. Key Roles and Responsibilities: The Coordinator willlead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the ECCEProgram focused on improving the quality of early childhoodeducation and play-based learning in Anganwadi centers. A. ProgramPlanning and Implementation Project Leadership: Lead the planning,execution, and monitoring of the ECCE Program across the assignedstate geography. Curriculum Implementation: Ensure the effectiveadoption and application of play-based, developmentally appropriatemethods for children aged 36 years within Anganwadi centers.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the State ICDSdepartment, local NGOs, and field teams to manage educationoperations and ensure alignment. B. Capacity Building and ContentExpertise: Training Design: Design and deliver comprehensive andresponsive capacity-building initiatives for frontline workers,especially Anganwadi Teachers . ECCE Expertise: Utilize strongexpertise in ECCE curriculum design , content development, andearly childhood pedagogy to guide program activities. QualityImprovement: Continuously assess program quality and driveimprovements in early childhood education practices. CandidateRequirements Essential Qualifications and Experience: Education:Postgraduate Degree in Education, Early Childhood Education,Curriculum Development, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant ECCE experience . ECCE Practice: Provenexperience working directly with children aged 36 years usingplay-based, developmentally appropriate methods. Government/NGOExposure: Experience working with the State ICDS department andmanaging education operations with NGOs. Capacity Building: Provenexperience in designing and delivering capacity-buildinginitiatives for frontline workers.
