Position:Electrical Project HeadDepartment:Projects – Electrical Turnkey DivisionLocation:Bangalore OfficeExperience Required:15 to 20 YearsEducation:BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical EngineeringIndustry Preference:Electrical Turnkey / MEP / Industrial / Commercial / Data Centre / Infrastructure ProjectsAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Electrical Project Head to lead and manage large-scale Electrical Turnkey Projects across Industrial, Commercial, Residential, Infrastructure, and Data Centre sectors.The candidate shall be responsible for overall project execution, client coordination, planning, commercial monitoring, team management, quality compliance, and successful project delivery within timelines and budgets.The role requires solid leadership capabilities, technical expertise, commercial understanding, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.Frequent travel to project sites and client offices will be required as per project needs.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesProject Execution & ManagementLead complete execution of Electrical Turnkey Projects from mobilization to handover.Monitor project timelines, manpower deployment, material planning, and site progress.Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and quality standards.Handle multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.Review project schedules, daily/weekly/monthly progress reports, and critical milestones.Ensure proper coordination between Site Teams, Planning, Purchase, QA/QC, Safety, and Accounts departments.Client & Consultant CoordinationAct as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, PMC, and stakeholders.Attend client meetings, review meetings, and technical discussions.Resolve technical and commercial issues proactively.Maintain strong client relationships for smooth project execution and future business opportunities.Ensure client satisfaction and timely approvals of drawings, billing, and variations.Commercial & Billing ManagementMonitor project budgets, costing, billing, cash flow, and profitability.Review subcontractor work orders, certification, and vendor bills.Ensure timely preparation and submission of RA Bills, variation claims, and final bills.Control project cost overruns and wastage.Coordinate with Accounts team for collections and payment follow-ups.Planning & Resource ManagementPrepare project execution strategies and resource deployment plans.Monitor manpower productivity and subcontractor performance.Ensure availability of materials, tools, and equipment at site.Coordinate with Purchase Department for timely procurement activities.Technical ResponsibilitiesReview electrical drawings, BOQ, specifications, and project scope.Ensure execution as per approved drawings, standards, and statutory requirements.Provide technical guidance to project teams during execution and commissioning stages.Handle technical challenges related to HT/LT systems, cable trays, lighting, earthing, panels, DG systems, and associated electrical infrastructure.Safety & Quality ComplianceEnsure implementation of safety standards and company safety policies across all projects.Coordinate with QA/QC and Safety teams for audits and compliance.Ensure all works are executed as per approved quality procedures and client requirements.Monitor closure of snag points and punch list items.Team LeadershipLead and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and Site Teams.Conduct regular project review meetings and performance evaluations.Develop strong coordination and accountability within teams.Support recruitment and training of project execution staff.Desired Skills & CompetenciesStrong leadership and decision-making capabilities.Excellent project management and execution skills.Strong commercial and contractual understanding.Good communication and client handling skills.Ability to manage pressure and tight project schedules.Strong knowledge of Electrical Turnkey Project Execution.Knowledge of ERP systems, project reporting, and planning tools will be preferred.Preferred Project ExperienceCandidates having experience in the following projects will be preferred:Industrial ProjectsCommercial BuildingsData CentresResidential High-Rise ProjectsReporting StructureReporting To: Management / Director – ProjectsTeam Handling: Project Co-ordinators, Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, QA/QC, Safety & Planning TeamsAdditional RequirementsWillingness to travel extensively for project execution and client meetings.Strong capability to handle large project teams and multiple sites.Immediate joiners or short notice candidates will be preferred.
