Roles and Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities of the position include: Plans laboratory exercises with faculty. Familiarity working with various tools and electrical/ electronic machines/equipment, Installing and repairing electronic Tests and conducting experiments, exercises, and demonstrations. Installs, maintains, and issues student drawers. Responds to technical questions related to the subject and use of equipment to staff and teaching assistants. Maintains supplies and equipment inventories; orders supplies and equipment for laboratory; keeps stockroom organised. Maintains teaching equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and effective performance. Serves as safety officer for teaching laboratory stays in the lab to oversee safety during scheduled teaching time. Plans support laboratory experiments, ensures adherence to protocols and safety regulations, and assists in troubleshooting and correcting experimental errors. Develops quality standards and programs to maintain the quality of stockroom, safety, and environmental regulations and other applicable requirements. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
