Job Description: Assistant Store Manager – Pharmacy Retail

Chemist Box Private Limited is a growing multi-outlet retail pharmacy chain based in Bihar, currently operating around 20–24 physical stores with a solid expansion plan.

Role Summary

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in managing daily store operations, staff supervision, customer handling, reporting, and achievement of store-level KPIs. The role will focus on smooth store functioning, proper implementation of company processes, and managing store operations during the assigned shift.

In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for handling the Store Manager’s operational responsibilities during the shift.

Requirements Key Responsibilities

- Guide and supervise store staff during the assigned shift to ensure proper customer handling and smooth store functioning.

- Take responsibility for the Store Manager’s operational work during the assigned shift or in the absence of the Store Manager.

Qualification & Experience

Graduate and above in any stream.

Candidate should have 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, preferably in FMCG, supermarket, organized retail, or pharmacy retail.

Candidates with experience as Assistant Store Manager, Department Manager, Supervisor, or similar store-level role will be preferred. MBA freshers may also apply. Having experience in retail sector as Floor manager/ department manager / team leader / Sr. associate
