Plumber (Patna)

Key duties and responsibilities :
- Installation and Repair : Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, tubs), and water heaters.
- System Maintenance: Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for leaks, malfunctions, or safety hazards.
- Blueprint Analysis: Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to plan pipe layouts and installations.
- Material Handling: Measuring, cutting, bending, and threading pipes (PVC, copper, cast iron) using specialized tools.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing issues in drainage, water supply, and heating systems to provide effective solutions.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhering to local, state, and national plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Discussing issues with clients, providing cost estimates, and delivering professional service.
- Preventive Care: Carrying out routine maintenance on mechanical and plumbing equipment. Requirements and skills :
- Proven experience as a plumber
- Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings
- Working knowledge of heating and ventilation systems as well as appliances
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly with a great deal of patience
- Positive physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces Job Type: Full-time Salary: ₹8000.00
