Job Title: State Project Coordinator Location: Kolkata, West Bengal Organization: Aprajita Foundations ⁠ Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and proactive State Project Coordinator to lead and manage our education and life skills initiatives in West Bengal. The role involves close coordination with the State Education Department, schools, and on-ground stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of programs. Key Responsibilities Coordinate with the State Education Department for smooth execution of projects Build and maintain robust relationships with schools and local authorities Visit schools regularly to conduct in-person life skills sessions for students Monitor, evaluate, and report on project progress and outcomes Ensure timely implementation of program activities across assigned regions Provide feedback and insights to improve program effectiveness Manage documentation, reporting, and communication with the central team Eligibility Criteria Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Education, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in social sector / education projects Prior experience working with schools, government departments, or NGOs preferred Robust communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to travel extensively within the state Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities Preferred Skills Experience in conducting training or workshops for students Understanding of life skills education Good organizational and reporting skills How to Apply Interested candidates can learn more about our work at ⁠ and apply by submitting their updated resume.
