About Studio Underground Studio Underground is a film and media production company empanelled with NFDC and multiple DIPR departments across Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana. We specialize in producing high-impact films and campaigns for State and Central Government initiatives, including the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit 2023 and G20 events hosted in Uttarakhand. Position Overview We are looking for a Video Editor to turn raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos. You will work on documentaries, government films, promotional videos, social media content, and branded campaigns while ensuring projects are delivered on time and aligned with the creative vision. Key Responsibilities Video Editing & Post-Production
- Edit raw footage into polished final videos
- Create content for documentaries, ads, corporate films, and social media
- Build strong storytelling through pacing and flow
- Deliver rough cuts and final edits as required Sync footage, voiceovers, music, and sound
- Add transitions, graphics, motion elements, and effects
- Perform basic color correction and audio balancing Requirements Software Skills Proficiency in:
- Da-Vinci Resolve (preferred)
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop Additional knowledge of:
- Color grading
- Audio editing & sound design
- Motion graphics and basic animation
- Export settings and file formats Preferred Qualities
- Passion for cinematic storytelling
- Understanding of documentary-style editing
- Creative and technically strong
- Able to manage editing workflows independently Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Film Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, or related field (preferred)
- 1–4 years of qualified video editing experience
