Engineer - Civil (Pavagada)

Purpose of this Role The Civil Engineer / Sr. Civil Engineer Solar Project is responsible for overall execution, supervision, and coordination of all civil activities at the solar project site. This includes site grading, foundations, road works, drainage systems, trenching, control room and inverter room construction, and structural support works for solar installations. The role ensures safety, quality, timely execution, and compliance with project specifications and standards. The person will also handle contractor supervision, site documentation, quantity verification, and technical reporting. Brief Description of Role & Responsibilities Ensure execution of civil works including grading, excavation, foundations, trenching, drainage, and road works for solar plant infrastructureConduct and participate in safety toolbox talks and ensure compliance with site safety standardsSupervise construction of module mounting structure foundations, inverter rooms, control rooms, and equipment foundationsCoordinate with electrical, mechanical, and quality teams for smooth project executionReview and interpret civil drawings, layouts, BOQs, structural drawings, and technical specificationsSupport client inspections, audits, and technical report submissionsEnsure quality control of concrete works, compaction, reinforcement, and structural activities as per standardsMonitor subcontractor activities and ensure timely completion of workCarry out quantity estimation, billing verification, DPR preparation, and material reconciliationEnsure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget requirementsSupervise site surveys, topographical checks, soil investigations, and level verificationMaintain proper site documentation including DPRs, checklists, and inspection reportsCoordinate excavation, backfilling, and cable trench civil activitiesAssist in project planning, scheduling, and progress trackingEnsure proper implementation of drainage systems, stormwater management, and access roadsResolve site-related technical and execution issues efficientlyMonitor compliance with approved drawings, IS standards, and client specificationsEnsure housekeeping and environmental compliance at project sites Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Experience
- Civil Engineer: 2
- 5 Years
- Sr. Civil Engineer: 5
- 10 Years
- Experience in Solar / Renewable Energy / Infrastructure / Industrial Projects preferred Required Skills
- Knowledge of solar project civil execution and infrastructure works
- Understanding of foundations, grading, drainage, roads, and trenching
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications
- Solid site execution, contractor handling, and coordination skills
- Knowledge of quality standards and safety practices
