Junior Engineer - NPD (Poonamallee)

Company Name: A Leading Wiring Harness manufacturing company Position Title: QA Engineer / QA Assistant Engineer Department: New Product Development (NPD) Qualification: Minimum Diploma / B.E in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 Years in NPD Industry Preference: Wiring Harness / Automotive / Press Shop Location: Irulapalayam, Poonamallee (Taluk), Thiruvallur (District), Chennai – 600124 Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understand and implement IATF 16949 system requirements and Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) throughout the process and organization
- Handle activities related to New Product Development (NPD) and coordinate with internal departments
- Work on Wiring Harness, Press Components, and Injection Moulding related activities
- Understand cable, connector, and terminal specifications, applications, materials, and testing methods
- Support inspection methodologies and handling of testing and inspection equipment
- Work with materials such as plastics, rubber, steel, copper, and brass
- Support supplier selection and related coordination activities
- Exposure to Injection Moulding and Press Tool process will be an added advantage
- Maintain proper communication and coordination with production, quality, and supplier teams Requirements:
