CNC / VMC Setter cum Operator

Job Summary:

Responsible for setting, operating, and monitoring CNC/VMC machines to produce precision components as per drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities: Set up CNC/VMC machines as per job specifications. Load tools, set offsets, and perform machine calibration. Read and interpret engineering drawings and process sheets. Perform trial runs and ensure dimensional accuracy. Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments. Inspect finished parts using measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometre, etc.). Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures. Troubleshoot minor machine or tooling issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field. 2–10 years of experience in CNC/VMC machine setting and operation. Knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens controllers preferred. Basic understanding of GD&T; and tooling selection.
