Our mission is to be the preferred global technology partner for the commercial vehicle industry. What you can look forward to as Assistant Manager – Logistics : 1. Material Issuance & Line Feeding Ensure smooth line feeding aligned with production plans, maintaining FIFO and effective storage control. Prevent line stoppages by monitoring material availability and coordinating with production and SCM teams. 2. Job Work Management Plan, issue, and track materials for job work via SAP/ERP, ensuring timely dispatch, receipt, and challan closure. Maintain accurate job work inventory through regular reconciliation of physical and system stock. 3. Waste & Scrap Management Oversee daily scrap verification, segregation, and compliant handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. Coordinate disposal activities, logistics, and documentation while ensuring statutory and environmental compliance. 4. Documentation & Dispatch Coordination Maintain accurate inward, inventory, and dispatch documentation as per process requirements. Ensure timely dispatches, track vehicle movement, and provide updates to stakeholders until delivery completion. 5. Inventory Management & Physical Verification Conduct cycle counts and annual inventories with proper labeling, scanning, and stock reconciliation. Analyze variances, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions for effective inventory control. 6. Audit & Compliance Management Support internal and external audits (IATF, EHS, OHSAS, MSES, customer audits). Ensure adherence to operational, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.

Profile description:
