Electrical Designer- Substation Physical Layout (Pune)

- Review the input received from the client and understand the scope of work and then plan work accordingly without changing design intent.
- Good understanding of the Vendor submittal drawings.
- Preparation of Substation Single Line Diagrams & Operating Diagrams (Optional).
- Preparation of Electrical Layouts Plan & Sections / Overall layouts
- Preparation of Control Building / GIS Building Layouts
- Preparation of Cable tray and trenches layouts Plan & Details for Trench & Conduits.
- Preparation of Lighting Layouts and Lighting Scheme drawings
- Preparation of Grounding/Earthing layouts and Details for Complete Equipment and Buildings.
- Preparation of Lightning Protection Layouts and Details
- Preparation of Auxiliary Single Line Diagram for AC/DC Systems.
- To be able to understand end-client design and drafting systems and standards implemented in work.
- Coordination with other disciplines designers and engineers as applicable.
- Coordinate with BIM/CAD Lead concerning project requirements.
- Candidate should be able to visualize and produce a clash-free 3D model using Navisworks/Revit (and similar tools from the Bentley suite of software)
- Robust analytical capabilities and the ability to work independently.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Commitment to safe work practices.
- Should be a good team player.
- Able to provide input into projects with minimal supervision. Can prioritize work products based on the project schedule.
- Preparation of Bill of Material for Complete Air Insulated Substation(AIS) & Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) Person Specifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering & Designer.
- For Diploma 4-7 years experience
- Electrical Computer Aided Design experience on Substation (AIS & GIS) Voltage Level from 11Kv to 800kV.
- 2D and 3D Modelling and design experience using the following Software applications.
- Autodesk Revit
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Bentley MicroStation
