Role Summary

A Legal Executive in real estate handles legal, documentation, and compliance work related to property transactions, with a robust focus on RERA (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) compliance. The role ensures that projects and transactions follow all legal requirements and protect the company from risks.

Key Responsibilities RERA Compliance & Regulatory Work Ensure registration of real estate projects under RERA Handle RERA filings, updates, and quarterly compliance Monitor project compliance with RERA rules and state laws Coordinate with RERA authorities and government departments Legal Drafting & Documentation Draft and vet: Sale Agreements Development Agreements Lease Deeds / MoUs / POA Ensure documents are legally valid, stamped, and registered Maintain legal records and documentation systems Property Due Diligence Check land ownership, approvals, and encumbrances Prepare due diligence and legal reports Litigation & Case Handling Handle legal notices, complaints, and disputes Assist in RERA hearings and court matters Coordinate with external advocates and tribunals Liaison & Coordination Work with: Government authorities Sub-registrar offices Internal teams (sales, finance, projects) Ensure smooth property registration and approvals Advisory & Legal Support Provide legal opinions on real estate issues Guide management on risk mitigation and compliance Support project teams in legal decision-making
