Description
Position: Inventory & Procurement Executive Location: Pune Department: Operations / Supply Chain Experience: 2–3 Years About the Role We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented person to manage inventory operations, procurement activities, vendor coordination, and ERP systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely availability of raw materials, maintaining stock accuracy, optimizing procurement costs, and supporting manufacturing/installation operations. This role requires strong coordination with vendors, internal teams, and management to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management
- Manage inventory using ERP systems such as Zoho Inventory, ERPNext, Odoo, or similar platforms
- Maintain accurate stock records for:
- Raw materials
- Electronic components
- Packaging materials
- Finished goods
- Spare parts
- Monitor stock levels and initiate reorder processes
- Perform regular stock audits and reconciliation
- Track inward and outward material movement
- Generate inventory reports and forecasts Procurement & Purchasing
- Raise purchase orders (POs) based on requirements
- Source new vendors and compare quotations
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate purchases of:
- Electronic components
- Mechanical items
- Packaging materials
- Manufacturing consumables
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid shortages
- Follow up with vendors for deliveries and pending orders Vendor Management
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
- Evaluate vendor performance
- Manage communication regarding:
- Pricing
- Delivery schedules
- Quality issues
- Payments
- Identify alternative vendors for cost optimization ERP & Documentation
- Update ERP with:
- Purchase entries
- GRN (Goods Receipt Notes)
- Inventory movement
- Vendor details
- BOM-related material updates
- Maintain procurement and inventory documentation
- Generate MIS reports for management Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Production/manufacturing teams
- Installation teams
- Accounts department
- Management
- Ensure material availability aligned with project timelines Required Skills Must Have
- Experience with Zoho / ERPNext / Odoo / SAP / similar ERP
- Inventory management knowledge
- Procurement and vendor negotiation experience
- Purchase order handling
- Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reports)
- Strong communication skills
