This role is critical in enabling reliable data capture, device communication, and real-time intelligence at the edge. Role OverviewAs an Embedded Systems Engineer at Scry AI, you will be responsible for developing firmware and embedded software for IoT devices and edge systems. You will work closely with hardware, software, and data teams to ensure seamless integration between devices and AI-driven platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, detail-oriented, and experienced in building robust embedded systems in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.Key Responsibilities Embedded System Design&Development Design and develop firmware for embedded devices and IoT systems Work with microcontrollers, sensors, and communication modules Ensure reliability, efficiency, and performance of embedded solutions Device Integration&Communication Implement communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, MQTT, or Modbus Enable seamless data transmission between devices and cloud platforms Integrate embedded systems with backend and AI-driven applications Testing&Optimization Perform debugging, testing, and performance optimization of embedded systems Identify and resolve hardware-software integration issues Ensure stability and scalability of deployed systems Collaboration&Cross-Functional Work Work closely with hardware engineers, backend developers, and data teams Support deployment and troubleshooting of IoT solutions in real-world environments Contribute to system architecture and design discussions Documentation&Best Practices Maintain technical documentation for firmware, systems, and processes Follow coding standards and best practices for embedded development Stay updated with emerging technologies in embedded systems and IoT Required Qualifications and Skills Strong experience in embedded systems development and firmware engineeringProficiency in C/C++ and embedded programming Experience with microcontrollers, RTOS, and hardware interfaces Knowledge of communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, MQTT, or Modbus Familiarity with debugging tools, oscilloscopes, and hardware testing Understanding of IoT systems and edge computingOur Ideal Candidate Is technically strong and detail-oriented Can build reliable and efficient embedded systems Is proactive in solving hardware-software integration challenges Collaborates effectively across engineering teams Thrives in a fast-paced, product-driven environment Is interested in IoT, AI, and edge computing technologiesIf this role interests you, follow our page to stay updated on more job opportunities and insights into how AI companies build intelligent IoT systems and connected solutions.
