UC4 (Automic) Job Administrator, Pune

Looking for experienced professionals who can take ownership of critical batch operations and ensure seamless production stability in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Role Summary You will manage end-to-end batch operations on UC4 (Automic) , ensuring SLA adherence, quick recovery from failures, and smooth coordination across application, DB, and infrastructure teams.Key Responsibilities Monitor daily/weekly/month-end batch cycles and ensure SLA compliance Handle job failures, dependency breaks, file issues, and long-running processes Execute recovery actions (restart, rerun, dependency fixes) as per SOPs Lead incident triage (P1/P2), provide impact analysis, and drive resolutionPerform log analysis (Automic, OS-level) and identify root causes Implement scheduling changes, job onboarding, and workflow updates Maintain runbooks, documentation, and audit compliance Drive continuous improvement through automation and process optimization Required Skills&Experience 5–7 years of hands-on experience in UC4 / Automic operations Strong expertise in job scheduling, workflows, dependencies, and batch monitoring Experience in L2/L3 production support and incident management (ITIL) Solid troubleshooting skills across Automic logs, agents, and OS (Linux/Unix, Windows basics)Scripting knowledge: Shell / PowerShell / Python Experience handling critical batch cycles (month-end/quarter-end) Strong communication skills for stakeholder management and bridge calls Good to Have Knowledge of VARA objects, file watchers, and event-based automation Exposure to SAP or enterprise batch ecosystems (ETL, DWH)Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics Basic database understanding (Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL)
